Don’t
Take ‘The
Mark’!
Why
Should We Oppose A
National ID Program? By Ken Raggio The
Mark of the Beast is coming.
God said
it. Most of us realize that it cannot be long, now. We can clearly see
governments and corporations shoving us in that direction. Right now,
they are
throwing out the old barcodes and replacing them with Radio Frequency
ID (RFID)
chips on merchandise around the world. RFID readers are being installed
everywhere. Hospitals are urging their patients to have the chips
implanted. It
is just a matter of time before you will be asked to receive the
implant. Will
you take it? The
prophecy in Revelation plainly
states
“he causeth ALL…” to take the mark. That
is pretty obviously a global
application that everybody will be required to accept. But it comes
with a
warning to all people: “Don’t take the
mark!” Where does it say that? Well,
that is not a direct quote. That is just the conclusion anyone should
come to
when they read the prophecy that everyone who takes the mark is going
to “drink
of the wine of the wrath of God,” and “be
tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels,
and in
the presence of the Lamb… for ever and ever: and they have
no rest day nor
night…” (see
Revelation 14:9-11). If you
can read between the lines, it says, “Don’t take
the mark!” Two
ideas come to mind. Resisting the mark while everybody else is
taking it suggests a heroic act of faith in God. All faithful
Christians have
been trained to trust in God through every test and every trial. The
second
idea pertains to the possibility that we may live in a special place
where the
Mark of the Beast is not being implemented. Where might that be? Here
is a suggestion. Even though the Antichrist will have global
dominion, he will have adversaries. Daniel, chapter eleven tells us
that one
king will “push against him,” another king will
“come up against him like a
whirlwind,” and he will “go forth with great fury
to destroy”. What
can we learn from these facts? Not everybody co-operates with the
Antichrist. He will have enemies. Herein
is a great truth. Even though the Antichrist system will be
global, some nations will NOT be included in the system. What
possibilities
does that suggest? Maybe the In
Daniel 7, there is a lion with eagle’s wings. The lion
represents
the modern nation of Americans
should - RIGHT NOW - do everything possible to STOP the
enforcement of the REAL ID ACT of 2005. The REAL ID ACT requires every
American
to carry a national ID card by May of 2008. The card itself is NOT the
mark of
the beast, but we the REAL ID ACT could very possibly be the very
mechanism –
the platform – for the mark of the beast in But
we can throw a wrench in the machinery, if we act quickly and
