Any time the subject of Bible prophecy is raised, it is almost inevitable that the conversation will eventually turn to Revelation 13 where the Beast, the False Prophet, and the Mark of the Beast are mentioned. This is one of the great focal points of end-time Bible prophecies.

The first beast in Revelation 13 is a seven-headed, ten-horned government ruled by the Antichrist. The seven heads are the same seven heads of the four beasts in Daniel's prophecies in Daniel 7.

               1 - head of a lion
            + 1 - head of a bear
            + 4 - heads of a leopard
            + 1 - head of a dreadful beast

TOTAL:    7 heads on the beast of Revelation

The ten horns will not be defined until very shortly before Jesus Christ returns at Armageddon. We cannot see, from this vantage point, exactly who the ten horns will be. They will receive power in one hour with the beast, and will make war with the Lamb, Jesus.

I suspect that the ten horns will be the ten most prominent members of the end-time world government (perhaps the United Nations will appoint ten permanent members to the Security Council, or perhaps a new 10-member international coalition will be formed against Israel). 

Here is what we certainly know about this seven-headed beast ruled by the Antichrist, from Revelation 13.

2  And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, (the bulk of its body was German - that is, the motherland of the Holy Roman Empire, or the modern European Union)

and his feet were as the feet of a bear, (the Russian government is part of this end-time coalition)

 and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: (this international beast-government speaks English, the language of the United Kingdom)

and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority (the devil is in the details, literally Satan himself drives this government).

 3  And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: (The leopard - Germany - has four heads, four "reichs." One was wounded to death. Hitler's Third Reich received the mortal wound when the German empire was divided in half by the "three ribs" in the mouth of the bear - Russia - at the end of World War II by Joseph Stalin, Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt - the "big three." The deadly wound was healed when Mikhail Gorbachev of the USSR had the Berlin Wall torn down and East and West Germanies were reunited. The deadly wound was healed.)

and all the world wondered after the beast. (When the Berlin Wall fell, and Germany was reunited, the USSR fell soon thereafter, and NEW WORLD ORDER proponents were virtually dancing in the streets. Since the [staged and faked] "fall of communism" [don't you believe it] NEW WORLD ORDER has flourished.)

4  And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? (The Beast is an international union dominated by the United Kingdom (the lion head), Russia (the bear head), European Union (four-headed leopard) and the United Nations (the dreadful beast). Take note of the fact that the United States (symbolized in scripture by the eagle's wings) is NOT A PROMINENT member of this coalition, except by its membership in the United Nations, if indeed it is still a member of the UN when this prophecy is finally finished.

SIDE NOTE: If you want to see this VERY BEAST NOW FUNCTIONING, [UK, Russia, EU, UN], look at Tony Blair leading the UN 'Quartet' in the "Two State Solution" of Israel and Palestine. They are driving Israel out of the Holy Land even as I write this.)

5  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; (this world government blasphemes God, in the first case by its brash defiance of God's sovereignty over the Holy Land, the Promised Land, in forcing Israel to surrender the land of God's Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to the sons of Ishmael. While it appears that the land being given away will be predominated by Islamo-fascists, the fact is that the United Nations is the actual power stealing the land.)

and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. (This prophecy comes to fulfillment in the last three-and-a-half years before Armageddon.)

 6  And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (This international government stands in open defiance to the God of the entire ancient Judeo-Christian posterity, heritage, legacy; blaspheming everything Biblical, Israeli and Christian. including the Third Temple and end-time Jews and Christians, the true saints of all ages, and ultimately, Jesus Christ Himself.)

7  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (The most significant of these prophecies reveals that THIS government - THESE nations, and THESE presidents and prime ministers - will officially declare hostilities against the living saints of God - all true Christians - immediately before Jesus returns.)

 8  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (As is ALREADY the case, world opinion is increasingly ANTI-CHRISTIAN. Islam, with well over 1.5 BILLION adherents, hates Christians. Roman Catholicism, dominated by the Society of Jesuits, now preaches atheistic Liberation Theology [Communism and Evolution] around the globe in nearly every nation. That is another 1 BILLION ANTI-CHRISTIAN populace. They are accompanied by another 2 BILLION Hindus, Buddhists, Shinto, Freemasons, Occultists, Atheists and various sundry pagans who are also ANTI-CHRISTIAN. So the entire end-time WORLD GOVERNMENT is Anti-Christ!)

 9  If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10  He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. (This blood-thirsty antichrist beast government will be destroyed, even as it destroys. Saints, be patient!)

11  And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. (The "Vicar of Christ," the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church would speak to the world in the stead of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, but HE IS A DEVIL.)

12  And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, (The POPE shares the power of the European Union, and ultimately the world government)

and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. (The Pope, and the Roman Catholic Church are the loudest vocal proponents of the revival of the ancient Holy Roman Empire, in the modern form of the European Union, and by default, the EU's prominence as the last remaining superpower in the world government, the United Nations)

13  And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, (Study the modern teachings of the Roman Catholic Church on the subject of the Virgin Mary - Mariology. You will see prophecies galore foretelling a time, soon-to-come [they say], when the Pope will call down fire from heaven in the sight of men, and will call all the world to a revival of the Roman Catholic Church. They already claim hundreds of supernatural miracles by the Virgin Mary, including apparitions, visions, bleeding statues, statues dripping oil, etc., etc. They full anticipate this fire-falling miracle imminently.)

14  And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 

You have to see this one.

First of all, be certain that the European Union is the Seven-Headed Beast of Revelation. If you have ANY doubt about that, please read my article IRON AND CLAY FEET. This article also explains the wounded head that lived.

Secondly, be certain that the False Prophet is the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. If you are not yet convinced of that, please read WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH?.

Third, be certain that the POPE is imposing the IMAGE of the RCC on the EU.

MARY is the image being IMPOSED by the Roman Catholic Church ONTO the European Union. When the Pope "makes an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live," he is placing the IMAGE OF THE VIRGIN MARY as the SYMBOL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION!

The flag of the EU is the TWELVE STARS OF THE VIRGIN MARY! Mary is called "the mother of Europe" by the Popes of Rome. The Cathedral in Brussels, Belgium, seat of the European Union, features a prominent display of the image of the Virgin Mary with the 12-Stars around her head.

15  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. The Roman Catholic Church has, for many centuries, been attempting to give life to the image of Mary. Over 600 locations around the world are designated as holy sites where apparitions of the Virgin Mary have been seen, and where statues (idols) of the Virgin Mary are "venerated" - adored, worshiped.

(Don't think this cannot literally happen. Around the world, images of Mary are already bleeding and oozing oil. Don't be surprised if one of them actually speaks during the coming tribulation period! And don't think that the Catholic Church will not kill those who do not believe. Just read the history of the Jesuits during the Reformation!)

16  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: (This is intriguing. The POPE, not the Antichrist, is the person who finally imposes the Mark of the Beast! The Catholic Church will be the driving force behind implementing a world-wide Mark of the Beast. Count on it! I suspect that it will be the most politically-correct way for Catholic Europe to harness the Islamo-fascist insurgency - ECONOMIC SANCTIONS in the form of a new, paperless currency - the MARK! - for Islam and all the world.)

17  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Don't take the mark. It is the stamp of Satan on everyone in the end-time.)

18  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (We will certainly see this distinctive identifier when the Mark of the Beast is finally implemented. Already, we can recognize it in the "bar-code" of the Universal Product Code, and it will certainly appear somehow in the final technology of that time.)

So, what is the conclusion of Revelation 13?

The European Union will dominate the United Nations (or whatever the final world government is called) and will be manipulated from the sidelines by the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church.

These two forces, the Beast (the European-dominated World Government) and the False Prophet (Pope and the Catholic Church) will attempt to destroy or at least control all of Judaism, true Christianity, perhaps even Islam, and impose a Socialistic Liberation Theology around the world using the Mark of the Beast as brute force.

But Jesus will come, just in the "nick of time" and intervene. The Antichrist and the False Prophet will be cast alive into a burning lake of fire by none other than Jesus Christ Himself at Armageddon, according to Revelation 14.
